45RC Boxing Day TT, 26 Dec 2019

On Boxing Day I took part in the 45RC TT around the Old circuit near Kettering. This is a course I know very well, and was interested to compare my time to the Boxing Day TT last year. The race went well considering the conditions were wet and very cold. I cut my warmup short because I was just getting colder. It was the first time I had ridden a TT with a power meter and my first in the TT position Tim and I worked on earlier in the year. I gained some power PBs and was just 1 second slower than last year despite the conditions being much worse. I can’t wait to start the 2020 TT season.
