As the conditions were so hot I opted to wear a short sleeve jersey and no overshoes so as not to heat up too much. Just after the start all my sensors disconnected so I didn't have heartrate, accurate speed, power or cadence - the whole ride was done completely on feel. I felt it was faster on the way out and I tried to conserve a little for the way back. I gave it everything to keep the speed up and managed to get my average speed up to 24.5 compared to last week's 24.4. This gave me a PB of 24:10, down 8 seconds from last week which I'm really happy with. Now for some holiday!
